Well, I get to transport an Afrock tomorrow to his new permenant home in another province (it's going to be a LONG drive).

Last month, I went to visit a friend. We went to the nearby zoo, just a small dinky little zoo. Of course I checked out the reptile room. They were selling baby corns, normal and anery, and I was talking to them about them. The fellow there showed me the Afrock they had, and told me his story. Supposedly someone had dropped him off, for a few weeks while they went away, and never returned for him.

Basically, the zoo didn't want him, they already had a number of large boids, so they sent him home with me. I took him to a friend who's been acting as a foster home for him, and I'm happy to announce he's now going to a permenant, experienced and knowledgable home tomorrow morning!

He's a lovely snake, very fast and wrangly though. He's not been aggressive, but there's always the potential.

Here's his picture (I blacked out my foster home's faces for their protection, LOL):
