    Need some Advice please..

I know ALLOT of people say that snakes should not be housed together. I am considering buying another 6 month old Royal. I am just wondering if two males are able to share a 3ft viv untill they are older ?

If not its not a problem as I have a spare 40L tub which my other Royal was housed in untill his viv was built.

What are you opinions guys ??

    Thanks

..wish it was sunny here.. soooo cold !

Just because they are the same sex and young doesn't mean that they will not be stressed. I never house 2 snakes of any kind or size together.

My opinion is no. First of all - you're going to have to keep them separate for your 90 day quarantine anyway, so why not just keep them separate?

Here's an old, but good thread on whether you should house more than one together: http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=23890

Your convenience should never be a reason to make choices for the snakes. Housing seperately has always shown benefits and no downside, the same cannot be said for housing communally. Robin also made a good point in that you cannot follow proper quarantine procedures if you put a new snake in with your existing collection whether that's in the same enclosure or just in the same rack/room.
