Lucky. I love ferrets. I used to keep them until my dad decided that they smell too much, and put their cage outside. I ended up giving them away because they weren't allowed in the house and it is way too hot for them down here.
thats a shame yea i had to bribe my parents into letting me get her and since i adopted her from my job i got the cage and all her accessories for free shes such a sweety though she does still bite when she gets nervous. shes my first ferret ever but i have other pets but i think shes my fav besides my bp monty its a tie between those 2 though monty is in shedding right now and i can't handle him but o well thats how it works i need to bathe poe tonite because shes been itching alot but i also think it has to do with that she wants attention because she only itches herself when she is in her cage and then when i take her out and let her run around all the time but then she will start nipping pretty hard so i still have to train her not to nip so it might take a while since she was never trained by the person that brought her in for adoption
Mine used to bite the hell out of me. I never really cared though since they were just playing. First thing I'm doing when I go to college next year is get myself a ferret or two.
yea i figure it was just all outta play because what she does is she'll bite and than start licking where she bit me so i figured it was all outta play im not to conerned about it but i figured i would try and stop her from biting all together just incase some one else picks her up and isnt ready for her to bite when she plays.
thanks steveo yea shes a year old now i adopted her she loves to play rough and when she wants to run around she starts biting at my wrist which dosent bother me at all since its only play bites but the other nite she bite hard and drew blood but i put her in her cage for the nite and then when i took her out later she started licking me and she hasnt bit since then
