    Thinking of buying a Chameleon

I am thinking of buying a Chameleon. Don't worry, I've been researching on propper care. I still don't know which one I should get. Any suggestions / experiences? Please share your thoughts. Thanks.

Veileds are great for starters. I love my little guy. Very cool lizards to watch! Just make sure you have the proper environment setup before you bring one home.

Re: Thinking of buying a Chameleon

i have been keeping chams for about 2 years now. my bigest advice is to keep it in a room that is at least 80 degs all the time. you are proably saying to your selfs can i do that. that is the point. chams need fresh air cages so even if you have a heat lamp there are still small breezes in rooms. and those breezes are not the proper temps. i used to have relly bad eye trouble with mine then i put them in my reptile room now thay are fine because that room stays 80 or more all the time. just something to think about. keep in mind you are buying one of the hardest reptile to keep. but if you have done all your home work they can be a great little pet. if you get one be sure to post a ton of pics.
