    I'm back!

well, I'm sure no one missed me while I was having surgery, but I sure missed you all!

    my question is :

last feed my babies had was Oct 9th right before I went in for surgery. Its now been almost 2 weeks since they fed. I'm *just* able to hop in the car and go buy mousies, but if I cant make it tomorrow, how long can I wait before they *have* to be fed? will another week be ok?

(I had major back surgery and am much more mobile than I expected, but still get tired real easy if I do too much.)

also, I cant do a complete tank cleansing till I am allowed to bend and lift more than 5 pounds. is that going to be ok as long as I do the spot cleaning till I heal more?

Your snakes will understand while you heal for another week. 3 weeks is to a snake like a late dinner is to us! Spot cleaning should also be fine for another week. Keep that water bowl full of fresh water and your snakes will be fine!

    Re: I'm back!

thanks for the quick reply. I should be sleeping and resting my back, but you know, its just too darn hard to relax when you have pet issues on your mind.

my kids are taking care of the spot cleaning and water (girls ages 12 and 8) with my help of course. its really is kind of funny when you look at your kids handling the snakes like they were ole' hands at it, when only back in February, my youngest was afraid and my oldest was wary to say the least.

anyway, thanks again for the reply (and any other replies that might come out while I am in bed where I'm supposed to be)

Welcome back! Take it easy and don't let yourself over-do it. The snakes will be fine!
