    male breeders

    Are most males to breeding size by 1 year? I have read of people breeding them as low as 6 months old, but usually, or males to breeding size within a year?
    lots of snakes

    I've heard 800 grams, and yes, they can make that by their second winter depending on when they were hatched.

    Depends on the snake & his size. I've heard some can mate at earlier as 6 months and some don't mate till they are 18 months old.

    I had a male under 400g's successfully breed last season, and have a 700g male this year that doesn't seem too interested in getting the job done. It depends on the male.

    400 grams!!!

    You planned on putting it with a female at that small a size?

    It wasn't exactly planned that way. I had hoped he'd put on some more size, but he was picky about eating and would only take an adult mouse a week, if that But, I figured why not...
