Basically any time you ship a reptile you must adhere to the Lacey Act.

You MUST label what animal is in the box.
Fragile, handle with care, etc are not allowed.

It also lists what can and cannot be shipped.

Steve,i have refused to sell snakes to people that do not want you to write on the box whats inside it.The reasons they would give me was like "my landlord might see it" or "my parents might find it".I told them sorry but i follow the rules set by my shipping company(fedex) so i am unable to complete a deal with you.I feel this post will help others prevent from getting into trouble over a mismarked package.
