    PAMming = exhausting

    Wow; treating all of my snakes with Provent a Mite is a lotta work! I am on the second last one now; waiting for the spray to dry in his cage while LaVey soaks in some water/dish soap. I have learned that my 2 male BPs do NOT like soaking, lol; the females basically sat in the water not moving around; but the males wanted to fly outta there!
    All that's left is my BCI; this should be fun!!

    Finally done.. hopefully this stuff will conk out all the mites.
    Should i spray anywhere around the enclosures (the tables they're on, etc?) I just did the insides, with new newspaper substrate; as per the directions.

    Re: PAMming = exhausting

    spraying the area around around their encosures might be a good idea if you can do it Gin. Also...and not to get personal but my wife found on the net that washing your body with head and sholders shampoo will help keep them off human bodies. The time years ago when we had a mite outbreak we used and it did help...as gross as it is to say they where getting on us as well since we had to treat the animals and such. I think its a mineral or chemical in it that detered or even helped kill them.

    Re: PAMming = exhausting

    When i had them i found them walking on the top of my cage, on the outside. I also assumes there were some in the carpet and such, but i would say treat the table too you can't be sure!

    Re: PAMming = exhausting

    A little PAM around the floor/wall where the cages are will work good. We do that on a regular basis, and I am always impressed with the ring of dead spiders that collect after a few days.
