Mice!!!

Thought I'd post pics of some of my more special mice (in other words, not white albinos!).

Please feel free to add some of your own special mouse/mice pics to this thread!

Let's see whatcha got!!!!

Starting with my latest addition - I have absolutely no idea what variety or even what to call the color except orange! She has hair that's at least 3 times as long as my albinos -



While it doesn't show well in the pic, this one is an off white color, almost champagne, with black eyes. She should be having her first litter within the next day or two -



The color on these two is so incredibly silver, that it looks metallic -

I've got all sorts of crazy things going on in my mouse colonies. Long hair, short, harlequin(sp), black and white patch, I should get some shots. That orange fuzy ball is great! Rodent of the month!

The orange and silver ones are soo pretty! Never seen any like that before....

I want an orange one and a silver one just for pets cause they are awesome, dont think I could feed off something that darling.

You know, after seeing your pics of the orange and silver mice, I have called all the local pet shops...all they have are white or white and black ones.... dang...

I love selective breeding mice for colors and patterns. It sure is a lot quicker results than the snakes . Great pics though Steve, I'll have to take some of mine when I get home. I love my pied mice! I finally got a few with almost even white and black on thier faces.

Well, this seems to be a bit of a dirty word around here...but... (whispering in Jeanne's ear) Petco...shhh!!!

That's actually where I got all of the mice in these pics. Of course, they buy their small animals from local suppliers.
