Injury
K all. . . here's the deal. My friend bought a baby leo from the expo we just had in town, and he just found out it had a broken leg . Also, the little guys legs are really rubbery. Is there anything you guys can tell me that might help. I don't know anything about leos, and not much about his setup, but I'll try to answer "?" if you need. We're just really worried about the little guy. Please help.

Re: Injury
It doesn't sound like he's been supplemented properly. I'm not sure what you can do for the leg though

Re: Injury
not sure what to do about the bad one, besides a vet trip, but i would defiantly start dusting food with calcium and vitamin supplements.

Re: Injury
sorry, i should have mentioned that he's been to the vet, and the brake is old and has healed improperly. . . what about uv. . . some say you should, some say you shouldn't. . . what do you guys think? The vet suspects mbd as well. Like I say, I know nothing, except that my buddy loves the little guy, and wants the best for him. Oh, and should he be feeding mealworms regularily. . . that's what the breeder told him, but I think the breeder is a dough head.

Re: Injury
UV should not be needed the way i understand it. They are nocturnal, so they dont really experience it in the wild. I guess if the break is healed all he can do is suplement to try to strengthen the rest of the bones and try to prevent it from happening again. As far as feeding, we feed ours dusted crickets most the time, and keep some meal worms in a dish some times too. Try checking the care sheets here. I dont remember what they had to say about it really.
