Help Season Change.... Humidity OFF the charts!

ok i'm be faced with a new problem. My father... (that evil son of a gun) turned off the AC when a cold front came through (thinking it woudln't warm up agian or something.... NEWS FLASH it's FLORIDA!)... the first thing I told him was it was pointless because it's going to get warm again before it gets cold and it take a lot more AC to RE-cool the house as opposed to keeing it cool all the way through. Anyway the cold front is gone all windows are open and my room temperature is 84-86 degrees and the humidity is at 65%??!? How can i lower the humidity??? What can I do? When I got home today and checked my tubs everyone seemed fine (Kole's hum is 63%... I think thats ok?) except for Riley which was stuck at 73%! I immediatly put her in a pillow case and began to drill more (1/2") holes! (about 14 more!) Well after drilling I put her tub on the floor and took a fan that is about 8 in. wide and 3 ft. tall laid it on its side and put it in front of the tub... it's currently 63%... what can I do?

try doing a search i think this has been talked about before, you could invest in a dehumidifier, or put a fan in the room. all i can suggest.

Without a fan in the room blowing constantly (except for sometimes to let the humidity come back a little), the humidity in my ball python's tub gets up to 69% in about an hour. A fan will lower the humidity 10 +/- depending on the strength of the fan.

Mine is always hovering b/t 65% and 70 and a few people said i'd be OK. When i run the fan it gets around to ~65%...

I was thinking about investing in a small dehumidifier to help things out a little.

Yea it's hard down her in Florida...! I just don't want anything to happy to my big girl!!! (or any of my snakes for that matter). I'm stumped because both Ceasar and Kole's tubs are maintianing in between 54-63% hum! and yet Riley's is going crazy!

Humidity Is your friend, with all the electrical heating equipment that I use im constantly working on keeping the humidity up. 65-75 % is not a problem, It also will not stay like that it varies .
