"The Art of Keeping Snakes"

I've been reading this book called, "The Art of Keeping Snakes", by Philippe De Vosjoli.
Has anyone else ever read this book?

Better yet, has anyone used this guy's techniques in housing snakes in "natural" vivs using the "Bioactive Substrate System (BSS)"?

I keep Poison Dart Frogs in a similiar manner and have had EXCELLENT success at doing so.

I have read this book as well as many other reptile books....wrote a little about it in the "Recommended Reading" section of the site

As far a implementing the methods into my reptile collection....I do not believe that I am prepared for that just yet. I am still trying to work out the basics of keeping plants and such alive indoors(they all die)....so throwing them in a bioactive viv. wouldn't really do me any good

I don't know about snakes, but several people have been sucessfully keeping crested geckos with the BSS.

Great author! As to question at hand, I'm with Daniel. That sounds pretty advanced and very involved if setting up for a snake, although I'm sure its more than rewarding with a stable system.

Ive seen a few GTP and ETB set ups like that they look awesome if done right
