    Another heating question...

    ok its about the temps. i know the cool side should be 82-84 and the 92-94. but here is m questions. should the whole cool side be between 82-84 and the same 92-94 fo rthe warm side or just by the 2 hides should it be those temps? just a lil confused.....please help....

    Most of us like to have the temps on the ground on the cool side to be 82-84 and on the ground on the warm side to be 92-94 with ambient temps in the mid 80's.

    Generally, my probe is measuring the temps INSIDE the warm side hide, where the snake spends the majority of his time. I aim for about 82 on the unit itself (which is mounted on the tub close to the floor on the cool side). That way, the cool side temps themselves are probably safe to say are in the 82-84 degree range.
