    ID help, please.

Sorry for the poor picture quality, I believe they were taken with a cheap webcam. I'll try to get better ones later.
My friend has three boas, which she was told were all male, and who had at some point last year been housed together (they're now separated).
In February, the largest snake gave birth to quite a few babies.

This was before I had met her, and she was living in another state anyway.
Sooo...she describes some of the babies as "wierd...no red on them". It sounds like she's describing anerythristic, but I can't tell from her description. She says that some were silver and grey, with no red on their tails, very unlike the parents or littermates.

One of these "wierd" babies given to a friend of hers, who has provided the pictures which I'm including in this post.

What do you think? She's considering doing a planned breeding with this pair again, and I'm trying to help her do it properly this time. Anybody got links to a good site with proper breeding techniques?

Very hard to see from those pictures.. but the tail does look like that of an anery.

The best page I know about breeding boas is this one: http://www.riobravoreptiles.com/care_breedingboas.htm

Thanks, April. I'll send her that link.

Matt, I don't know but I'll ask her to count them.

Matt, she counted today and the parents are both 16 or 17. The baby appears to be about the same from the picture; neither of us have immediate access to it.
Her smallest one, presumed male also, counts at 21.

I assume the numbers will allow you to guess at the region they're from? They came with no history, and I believe were fairly poorly cared for. She doesn't know much about them in general, and I think that perhaps some of her care standards could be improved due to misinformation she received from pet stores. I'm trying to get her hooked on this place so she can read up, as I have with my ball pythons.

    ok drum roll. .................

i did some reading and i believe that you have a bcc crossed with a bci. from the saddle count you gave me and the shape of the saddles. true bci's usually have from 19-22 saddles where most pruvians will only have 10-15. bcc's in general dont have many saddles. but yours has as many saddles as a bci but from what i can see on those low quality pics the saddles are shaped like that of a bcc.
