    Right of tonnage

Today was weigh-in day...(and no, rats are NOT on the Jenny Craig nor Weight Watchers plan):

Cleo 956g!!!! Four digits here we come!
Carmen 445g - FINALLY really starting to move forward (Note: she was really stuck at the same weight of 120g from when we got her in February earlier this until June and is now finally steadily slamming ratters and growing).
Jenson 8g! (Up ONE WHOLE GRAM from last week)

Cleo also wanted me to note that she thinks I should offer her mouse pinkies in a bowl like bon-bons so she can munch on them while she's watching her afternoon soaps...

(Sorry such a superfluous post, just excited about my growing kids - oh and I think Cleo may be entering that "teenage angst" thing I think I read Adam talk about - she hissed at Rick twice today when he was taking her out of her cage. The good news is that we've now heard new sounds coming from her not emanating from her butt. )

    Serving tail and scale,
0.1 ball python (Cleo), 0.1 surinam bcc (Carmen)
1.0 sunglow motley corn (Jenson), 1.0 albino burmese (Lourdes)
1.0 cat (Nicky), some mooses and ratters, 1.0 hubby (Rick)

    Re: Right of tonnage

Yep Cleo's the right weight for it hon. We have noticed our females definitely get attitude right around that 800-900 gram mark and then settle back down around 1,200 to 1,300 grams. During their "angst" they just seem to want to eat and rest and be left alone....definitely more hissy, more jumpy and just plain grumpy...very focused on eating and growing it seems during that stage.

Congrats on the lovely weights of the girls!
