any Ideas my BP has a swollen neck??help please

first off i have a 1000g het albino female, left for work this morning she was fine. got home she was hidded under the mat.. it was moist because she tipped over the water dish.. the bowl had a few ounces in it but didnt drench the tank just made it moist.. any ideas.. i pulled the water out is this and infection or is it because my humidity was too high? thanks in advance

You're really not clear about what the problem is. A swollen neck??? How swollen? What part of the neck? Is it a localized swelling or is the whole neck inflated?


But regarldess of those answers, no one on the Internet can diagnose and illness or an injury. I'd get her to an experienced herp vet ASAP.

it came down a bit now... it was swolen under her jaw to her neck.. it feels soft so its not like a growth. she doesnt seem stressed. she was up against the UTH right against the glass under the substrate matt and it was very moist under there...maybe i am just parrinoid but id rather be safe then sorry. i am going to post a pic.

Like Judy said no one is going to be able to tell you whats wrong even if we look at a pic.If something does not look normal a vet visit will not hurt.

swelling went away. took her to the vet this morning because i couldnt go last night at 7. she's perfectly healthy. i am to keep a close watch on her for the next coupple of weeks. keeping her in a dry tank for one day. thanks for help guys. i understand that i could not get a diagnosis over the web but being 7PM i knew the vet was closed. i was not sure if anyone had similar problem before..

Great to read nothing was wrong with her

its been 4 days nothing wrong.. the swelling went down over night... hasnt come back, or any other signs of infection. but yea it must have been from direct -heat and wetness
