Weight gain for a sav?

What should I expect as growth from my sav...what is normal weight gain??

I got her two months ago and don't want to overfeed her, but don't want stunt growth either...what would a healthy weight be??

feed your sav as much as it will eat everyday in the first year. after that scale back if you notice him getting fat. weights and such very widely from animal to animal.

Should I feed her even if she is not looking for food?
She often digs a burrow and I have to dig her out to feed her...is this normal?

Savs generally tend to be a bit more shy...are you near the cage waiting/watching for him/her to eat? S/he should come out on its own to find food...digging it out with just cause unnecessary stress. If the sav is ignoring food altogether then it may be time to take a fecal sample and your monitor to the vet...it is unusual for monitors to ignore food unless already fed to satiation during the day, or something is off with the husbandry. Double check your temps.

never undig it. thats very unnecessary. offer it food and if he doesnt eat it,wait to offer it again.
