help....want to keep 2 females together?
ok guys well i just picked up 2 100% het albino's male and female. male is 500g housed in a 10 gal and the female is around 1000g i put her with my other female 550g 30gal but not sure if i should keep them together.. i think i might have pisses off my 550g any sugestions? i have 2 hide boxes hot and cold. when my het (the bigger female) is in the hide box she wont let Skinny in but if skinny is in their first the het piles ontop of her and skinny get agravated and go to the other hide box. should i get more hide boxes? seporate them? anyone

Separate them...absolutely. They should never have been put together in the first place.

You should definately seperate them. No good ever comes out of keeping two snakes together.
-If one poos, and it's runny, how are you going to know who did it?
-Even though it isn't something that happens much, the bigger one could eat the smaller one.
-Stress. Ball pythons get stressed from being housed together and will either compete for a spot, or compete for heat.
Besides, you should have two hides a snake, so why only two for two snakes?

Did you look it up HERE? Cause I really don't remember a post on this forum where housing two or more snakes was ever a good idea.

I googled it and came up with both sides..... the guy who i bought the hets from said its fine to keep the 2 girls together... they didnt seem to happy today, until i seporated them.

???? If the breeder is advocating keeping them together, I'd question the integrity of their being hets. But that's just MOI.
