Rant!!!

I went to the gym this morning for psycho cardio/lifting, and the gym is no longer!!! Windows papered over, representative from another gym out front offering free trial memberships to their gym (completely different company), and a recommendation to call the state attorney general's office.

So not only did I NOT get to work out today, I'm screwed out of the remaining 5 months of my 14-month membership (unless the AG somehow comes through), AND I have to go get a new membership at a new gym that is a longer drive from the shop/house.

I've heard some pretty good things about them. i wouldn't mind having one of those around.

I've heard some pretty good things about them. i wouldn't mind having one of those around.

Bowflex is kind of limited for the stuff I'm into...free weights are a girl's best friend!!

It's actually a blessing in disguise...I stopped by my new gym this evening and it's HUGE. They have UBER circuits, free weights, cardio machines & classes to boot. I think it will actually be a nice upgrade from where I've been working out for the last couple of years. I think the extra 10 minutes tacked onto the drive will be balanced out by the opportunity to add a Pilates class to my weight/cardio/yoga routine.

Right now I'm just going to be raising hell over the refund I'm due by the old place...one thing I HATE is getting ripped off!!!
