    Unhappy Shedding?

My BP is shedding for the 1st time (since i've had him), and he is shedding in a million pieces. I have only had him about 2 1/2 weeks and have been keeping the temp right I think) and I increased the humidity when I noticed his eyes going blue. Abaout an hour ago, I put a small tub in his tank with a wet towel and some warm water in it. I put him into it, he stayed in about 10 minutes, then went back to his hide.
Is there anything I can do to help him loose all of his skin this time, and help next time go better?

    Thanks
    J.B.

Yet another dumb question from me, how do you make a humid hide?

I use any type of small plastic container about hide size.......i.e. Gladware, butter tubs, etc.... put an entrance hole in the hide....then put either damp moss or paper towels inside the container and set it in the enclosure.

    Re: Shedding?

I just recently acquired a ball python about a week ago and I was told he shed 2 weeks before...I noticed yesterday a few of his scales are becoming dull colored. How often do they usually shed and is ok that just a few scales are discolored?
