Oh my God when will people grow up. They don't have a problem with shows like Nip/Tuck or the Real World. But take a kid to the art show and freak out. People need to get their heads streight. You can say some forms of nudity and sugestive content are ok and some aren't. Its black and white you either teach them the differance or you let them decide for themselves (children are incapable of making that kind of decision).

I think the big thing here is that it was a teacher that took them and not the parents. I have history books with painting with nudity in them. Didn't e effect me

Thats true I mean its not like they have Husler blown up and hanging in the halls .

It looked like a classic painting. I mean I have seen paints in churches with Mary nursing Jesus. I mean I agree you have to draw the line somewhere but use common sence.

In the censored world we live in today this isn't really surprising. It's completely rediculus that it would come down to firing the teacher.

Well I just hope the teacher fights this tooth and nail. I would think having the signed consent forms would be enough of a legal leg to stand on.

I just do not understand the mentality behind this firing at all.

No its not kids today get away with any thing prime example. Kid in a highschool here in Mississippi. Hit a male teacher it the face twice with a stapler the teacher hit back. The PARENTS of the kid sued the school for the attack and won (of all things) and the teacher got fired for "Fighting Back". Gone are the days of respect and disapline. Replaced with the time when lawers tells us how to raise our children and people fear for their kids in school. Taking a life is no long an unforgivable crime and is just how kids rebel or lash out. Your no longer known as "in need of a good ass whiping" your a troubled teen searching for direction and meaning.

The school district and the school are just trying to save face now. If they defend the teacher, they may face lawsuits from the parents. It is easier to just fire the teacher and get rid of the whole mess than it is to fight it, even though it may not be the right thing to do.
