    Time without Eating

I've had my BP for two years now. I bought her already beeing an adult. She spent the first 9 months without eating a thing. I presented her with mice, gerbils, hamsters, live prey, pre-killed, and nothing. Just one night I came home and I tried my weekly routine of trying to feed her and she eat the mouse and the gerbil without hesitating.

I was just wondering, for how long do your snakes have stop eating? My record up to now is 9 months.

    Re: Time without Eating

My male went 6 months without eating - but once I transferred him to a tub set up, he's been eating reliably. I'm hoping that he'll continue to feed all winter this year like all the rest. I'm convinced his fast was due to the glass viv set-up since all the tub kids ate all winter long.

Wild caught, which probably explains the not eating for two years
