my terrarium
I just got my new terrarium and set it up (anxiously awaiting my new friend) and am using a uth pad. but the temp on the bottom of the tank where the utm pad is is (sorry about the double is) is 94 degrees. Is this too warm for the basking area? I read it should be 92, do you have any ideas on how I can drop that temp 2 degrees? Also, is there a easy way to get to the threads that I started in this forum?

Re: my terrarium
You're fine - 92-94 on the warm side.

Re: my terrarium
When using UTH's, it's a good idea to use a thermostat with it too. They can get really hot if you don't, and possibly burn your snake or crack the glass on an aquarium. Just thought I'd throw that out there, just in case you didn't have one already.
