HELP any ecommendations glass tank help ????

i have a 60gallon tank, and i am trying to get the perfect temps. i am about to try this method...http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showthread.php?t=32800


could i use newspaper instead?


also this is what my tank looks like right now, not that good of a pic. still need to tranfser form my digi.

yeah I used Gorilla brand black tape on one side to help with humidity and tin foil on the other (refelective side down) to help with heat. Give it a try and you will see the numbers change fast.

I just put saran wrap over most of the lid, leaving a space for ventilation. I am always leary about using tape anywhere near my snakes!

Wow! That's a HUGE tank for such a little snake! In addition to getting your humidity correct, I'd get him a few more hides, but some that are much smaller and tighter than that 1/2 log hide - they like their hides to touch them from all sides and above.
