Mine is soaking in his tub right now. But then again he ate his first adult mouse at 4 months old. He could be useing it to relieve the pressure.

No they don't. Keep the humidity correct (which a tub set-up generally does) and there's no need to offer a bowl large enough to soak in. I don't give any of mine bowls large enough to soak in (other than the babies - but only because they all get the same size bowl and haven't outgrown them yet - but even they don't soak before a shed).

To the OP - your tub set up looks GREAT! Good job, and welcome to the world of tubs! You're gonna love it!

Shotty, you have a very nice looking tub there for your BP! I wouldn't worry about the water dish to much, since a lot of snakes don't soak. You sias you just use a humid hide in there and if your snake has good sheds, sooo well keep up what you are doing! Good work!

    Very nice setup!

I have one that always coils up in her water bowl before shedding...none of the others do. All in the same rack, same temps, same humidity...
    Lucifer Sam, Siam cat...
    Always sitting by your side,
    Always by your side...
    That cat's something I can't explain...

It looks great! My only suggestion would be that you may need to add some more holes in order to keep the humidity down. But if I were a BP, I'd wanna live there for sure!
