I would definitely turn down that thermostat. I would try to get the surface temp of the tub to be around 92-94 degrees. Don't worry about the temperature on top of the substrate, because the sanke is built to sense heat. If he knows there is 94 degree temps under the substrate, he'll move the substrate to get to it. At 114 degrees, as it is right now, you run a high risk of having a burnt snake.
