OK, last week Monty didn't come out of his hide very much, which is unusal for him. Saturday late afternoon I decided to lift up his hide and see what's up with him. To my surprise, Monty's eyes were REAL cloudy and his pattern wasn't looking his usual brightness. He did not attempt to strike or anything, but I put him back in right away. I added a clump of sphagnum moss that I watered down and increased his misting to twice a day to help maintain 70% humidity.
So, questions!
I did read through the link above about shedding, thank you! I didn't see anything regarding feeding during the shedding phase though????
- He hasn't been coming out looking for food. Do I leave him alone or do I pull him out and try and feed him in his usual "feeed box"? Right now he's three days past his scheduled feeding (5 day cycle).
- Is it OK to pull his hide box to check on him or just leave him alone?
- Should I mist him down if it's OK to open his hide box?
Thanks!
