Quick Question about Exo-Terra

I've got an Exo-terra UTH--and in the instruction manual, it EXPLICITY says 'Only for use on GLASS aquariums'. Even with the use of a thermostat, can I not use this on Sterilite?

I dont see why you could not use it under a sterilite as long as you controled the heat output with your thermostat.

Like Joe said, ok to use with plastic containers with a tstat. That is to protect themselves from people using them instead of human heating pads probably
