So, tell us more about your current set-up. Glass or plastic? I'm assuming you are using the AcuRite for measuring temps and humidity since you mentioned it in your post. In fact, a picture would be great too so that we can make suggestions for you.

Sounds to me like this little guy is doing well. Whether you're ready for a second one or not, I'm not sure. I hope that you would now house separately. If you wanted to house together, I'd say - no - you aren't ready, and will never be ready if you don't house separately.

Glad that you found us here, and it sounds like you're really trying hard to do things right with this little guy.

Another thing to consider if you get a second is that you should ideally quarantine in a different room from your current ball python.
