Not a whole bunch, you'll either know its a boy for obvious reasons OR it will obviously be a girl because nothing "pops" out. You should learn on an animal that you know the sex of, that way you will know that you aren't popping a male wrong and assuming its a girl. I would also recomend learning on a good sized animal, a small snake can be hurt if you havn't learned on a good sized animal.
