Yeah i understand where you're coming from. My roommate is scared but is pretty confident he can get over his fear...he touched a 7 foot long red tail the other day and said it felt really good to face his fear...so I don't know if there is any room for convincing that they're harmless and they won't escape...Has he seen them?
