I remeber I was watching the morning news here in AZ when it broke through. I was totally stunned and then went a litlle bonkers. I am originally from New York and all of my family still lives there. I had a little brother at the time living in the city working as a DOC gaurd. The first think I did was call my family. My dad is a fireman and I wanted to make sure that he was ok and his firehouse had been deployed from our town to help. It had not as we lived to far away.
This will be remembered as the most devastating day in the history of the United States. Please remember that not only the twin towers but the people who fought the terrorists and ultimately crashed the plane and perished. Remember all the brave rescue members, the troops that have already perished and the ones that are still fighting for our freedoms. God Bless America
