Something Wrong...?

One day I was just holding my ball and I saw that it's cloaca flap opened a little and this foamy and red stuff like almost came out but then went back in.. lol what the hell?

Might have tried pooing or peeing on ya. Lol. Yes sounds funny, but it happens. Jut a week back before feeding my snake, my snake poo’d and peed on me.. And I saw it in the act!!! I pic my snake up the cloaca didn’t seem big or about to poop. Then I showed the little kids the snake and etc etc, and a hour or so later I picked up the snake and the cloaca looked larger and it got bigger and his inside could be seen then he relieved himself on our coach!!! It just squirted out of his old bum.. lol a 4 ½ foot Bp can really relieve a lot of himself, lol. So maybe your snaked tried to go but he couldnt...?

Oh, maybe that was it, but I thought snakes, ball pythons anyway, don't pee. It comes out as urates right? Someone before told me that their ball python peed on them but I thought that was not possible..

Its comes out in both. White/yellow balls and a mixture of yellow pee. Believe me it has happened to me many times since having my snake. That was before I recognized that fatter part near her rump= she is about to go, lol.

If a ball python is very stressed out, it may evert some tissue from the cloaca, even though it's not relieving itself. That's a sure sign that your BP doesn't like whatever it is you're doing and its time to put him back in his home and leave him alone for awhile.
