    when should i feed him?

i got my first ball python 4 days ago, and he has been hiding almost all day and has been active at night. today he has been all over the place even during the day. does this mean he is hungry? the pet store told me to wait a week to try and feed him, and he was last fed a few days before that. should i wait or try to feed him sooner.
by the way this site rocks!

For once, a pet store gave reasonable advice. Waiting a week after you bring him home to try and feed is the best route to go. If he is hungry now, he'll still be good and hungry in a few more days. Don't worry....he won't starve!

O my god a pet store that gives out the proper advice:eek: .We reccomend that you totaly leave your new snake alone for at least a week or two. This gives them time to get used to there new home. While you are here read up on some of the need to know info in the "stickys" at the beggining of most subject threads.Welcome to the group .If you have any questions ask away .
