    white stuff?

My friend tried popping noe of her adult-sized BPs of unknown sex.. she said a glob of white stuff came out according to her; would this be indicative of a male (she said no yellowy sperm pulgs) or female?

    Re: white stuff?

She wasn't able to get the snake to evert and see what's what then Jen? I know when I recently popped our yearling male, Malachi, before his vent could fully open he was expressing a thick white substance all over my thumb. I can only assume what that is but I'm guessing that's the good stuff as he's a confirmed and sexually mature male. I wouldn't say though that your friend just assume hers is a male by that...either get it properly popped or probed just to confirm her suspicions.

Yeah. I'm with Adam on this one...when I popped all my lil white LRs, they all had a little "white stuff" come ...it's just solidified pee, basically.Happens quite often when you pop.

See, maybe it was half-formed urate? it was definately not hard. it was about the consistency of a gel; like solid particles susoended in a gel, to be exact. She was not able to get a full inversion according to her; just a little of this gelly stuff came out.
This is getting to be a disgusting thread. But she did say it didn't look like urate!

Right, and when urine dries, it's no longer a liquid ... but when snakes excrete urates, some are hard and chalky and others are wet and slimey ... and there is usually urine mixed in.

    What was on the pizza?
