Does anyone here know about breeding ATBs?
I've been googling and not many people seem to breed these little guys. I love my Zanita and have been considering getting her a boyfriend---I think it would be great to have a red ATB!---but it's hard to find any information on breeding them.
Can anyone give me any first hand accounts?

Nope, but I can tell you why there isn't a whole a lot of info on them! They are a major pain in the >>> to breed. Very unforgiving.

Why's that? I haven't heard anything about them being any harder to breed than other boa...?
I guess I just wondered about cooling, when to put them together, even when their normal time to breed is?

ATB = Amazon Tree Boa
GTP = Green Tree Python
ETB = Emerald Tree Boa
BRB = Brazilian Rainbow Boa
BP = Ball Python
....tons more but you get the point

Theres a guy locally here that breeds them and sells them to my local reptile store, so it must be doable.

Atb's typically breed early in the summer and drop babies about this time of year.
I know 2 people that have bred them, but I don't really know how they set up everything.

How funny! I was thinking about getting a second one myself...and I'm to a show this morning. I talked to a guy for a long time when I got my first one. I don't think they are hard to breed with the proper research and husbandry.
