yeah i got it from petco, so i doubt they know anything. I had to open the viv and pull him out because the person working there was scared of snakes. I'm waiting for him to drop a duece so i can take him to the vet and get everything done in one stop. I was looking through the yellow pages, and theres about 50 or so vets, none of which say anything about being qualified to work with herps. So i guess I'm gonna start at the top and start dialing...
Thanks for the info!!!

Well it's obviously an 06 hatchling. We have two of those. Just to give you an idea one is a May 06 hatchling and she's 20 inches and 190 grams but she eats like a horse and was very fat even as a 1 month old. The other is a July hatchling and she's about 16 or 17 inches long but only 80 grams. She's not a great eater yet but I think will bulk up more once she's more consistent. One is built more short and chubby...the other is more slim and long. They are all quite different but yours sounds small and very young. Does it sort of have a pinkish blush to it and can you easily see a little slit on it's belly (sort of like our belly button basically).
This is what our May hatchling looked like at about 6 weeks of age and 100 grams if that helps.
This is what our new July hatchling looks like. As I said she's not the eater the above one is so she's 80 grams at 4 to 6 weeks old.
That was really a good post frankey. I had some of the same questions about my new BP and age. My snake looks almost exactly like the second pic and does have a sort of pinkish blushing on its underside! Thanks again for posting those pics. I hope it helped the thread starter as much as it did me!
