Wonderful. I have two rescue snakes too, one a BP and the other a Cornsnake and watching them thrive is soooo rewarding

Well done to you for being so kind and caring.

Maybe you should keep this little BP as she is obviously settling in well with you. Treating an animal, any animal, with love, kindness and respect works wonders.

How wonderful Mike! We just registered with a private cat/dog rescue group as they occasionally get calls on "exotics" and never know what to do about that. Rescue/rehab doesn't have to be tons of herps that you aren't ready for. It can be just one snake/lizard/turtle, etc. at a time that you work with. Some you can keep, some you send off to forever homes and it's always rewarding.

I look back on Rauri the BCI with the 3.5 foot belly burn and now he's Becky's beloved big boy and will live out his life loved and more importantly understood and respected by Becky. Also Saoirse tucked in her tub here at our home, slowly regaining her health and learning to accept human touch. Brannagh whose off being bred this year who once was so aggressive nobody was safe near her...now children stroke this beautiful BP and she shows a calm acceptance all the time.

My husband and I aren't about to change the world or able to do what Rusty and her family do (we stand in awe of them) but we do what we can one or two snakes at a time. I think it's very cool you are making a huge difference in this snake's life, whether you end up keeping her or placing her in a good home.
