    Sprocket's Morning Snooze

Okay I may never learn how to properly photograph a crestie but dang it I'm trying LOL. Here's little Sprocket snoozing in his tree this morning. I'm amazed out how well he blends right into his environment when he's not fired up. Speaking of fired up he's never shown us that dark brown color he was at the show since we've gotten him. Is that okay that he doesn't seen to fire up fully? Once when I was handling him his head sort of went darker and then his body a bit darker but nothing like the dark chocolate he was at the show. Was he just really excited there?

He had a nice meal of GSD, his vitamins and some lovely worms last night so he's probably happily digesting away this morning. Happy to report that at this point he still has his tail.

At night, he should fire up, but I'd guess he was a bit stressed at the show because there were probably so many people looking at him! This normally makes them fire up more than usual. What does GSD stand for and what worms are you feeding him? He's very cute!!!

Crested Gecko Diet. He gets his CGD by T-Rex daily which is a meal replacement powder you mix with water as per the bottle directions. As well he gets vitamins and his worms three times a week. So far he seems to be a good little eater though he likes to puddle around in the CGD and leave little sticky gecko footprints on his paper towel substrate LOL.
