    A lill update

Ok well far I have left Snakey (sorry I know the name is lame but my lill boy's named him) well I have left him since thursday in his tank with a blanket over the tank at all time all the temps have been going good and what not. He has been very active moving around and getting on his branches. He throw up a lill bit of the tube feeding that he was giving on thursday but since then he has been fine. The vet told me to feed him today but I think im gonna wait till next thursday just cuz he has been streesed sincehe got here with all the changes and the tube feeding and what not. This a good idea? and the vet also told me that when I do feed him to give him a pre killed pinkie. For some reason it is hardto find those here in my small ass town but ill find some Im sure. Anyways thats is whats going on with Snakey just wanted to keep yall posted and thank you for all your help!:

Was the vet you saw, an experienced reptile vet? Tube feedings are usually only required in extreme cases. Having said that, I would definitely listen to your vet, and discuss Snakey's treatment with him.

Good luck with him, and let us know how he's doing.

    Re: A lill update

Well in ALL augusta GA there are only 2 vets that work with Exotic animals and he was one of them so I hope he knew what he was talking about but something that hit me a but odd is that he did not know scorps ate Mouses. Cuz i told him I would just feed the lill ones I had to my Scorp and his eyes just opend so wide lol and he told me he would not even go near a scorp so that kinda was strange to me you know an "exotic Vet" being scared and not knowing what scorps could eat. And well I really have no idea how serious it was but I was told when I adopted my ball that it had not eaten and they didnt remeber the last time it did. I got him last friday and it has not wanted to eat for me eather

Why is he being tube-fed? I am just curious.. I have had my female go without eating for almost half a year without any negative effects (slight weight loss, nothing major.)
