awsome but scary feeding response
Last week naga only ate 1 of 2 mice, she was in shed that might have had somthing to do with it. Well anyhow she has been acting a bit stressed since then so I was worried she might refuse this week. So i have left her alone anyhow she put my worries to ease yesterday lol
I removed her to her feeding inclosure in her hid box (for some reason She shows no intrest in her encloser) as soon as the hide was place inside out she darted, about Half of her body came out as she came out she angeled upward striking at the nearest warm object ME! I was well out of her range but it was king of a scary site. I could only imagine if she was a large retic or burm actually I probably wouldnt be able to imagine at all lol

She might have been sleeping and you scared the bajeebers out of her, inturn you got struck at.Or you might have stressed her like you stated and she is telling you to leave her alone. How old is she? How often do you handle her? Be more gentle with her and see if she stops striking at you.

she was awake lol every friday she is awake when I come home she knows its feed day lol, I think she was stressed because in one week she was probed, went through a rough shed and had to be soaked, I havent handled her much since she was in shed and was acting stressed, She ate just fine scarfed down 2 mice I am thinking it was more of a feed response she smelled the mice near by and she didnt eat 2 the week before like normal so she might have been hungry!

Maybe she was stressed from you moving her into a different enclosure. Why not feed her in her enclosure, she won't be as stressed?
