Hello my name is Kyle! (im new)
Hello, my name is Kyle I live in central Florida (10 minutes from Daytona Beach) and I'm a pround new owner of 2 male ball pythons about 1ft in length. I will probably be spending a lot of time on this forum asking questions and posting pictures and such of my babies. I have noticed that out of all the pictures on this site no one has a darker skined bp? I do... I want to post some pictures of him for all to see! Oh there names are Kilo and Kole.
1st question: what does everyone have numbers in there signature? i understand they list there pets and there names.. but what are the numbers and what numbers would i use for my signature stating i have 2 bp's??
Thanks,
Kyle

One question before I answer yours. Your Ball Pythons aren't in the same cage are they?
The numbers mean this. 2.3.4 mean 2 males, 3 females, and 4 unsexed.

You might want to seperate them. Ball pythons don't like being with eachother and can get very stressed out, even if they were together all their life. Not being rude, but please seperate them.

I can't afford another tank? stressed out? Why have i never heard of this before? Why do they lay on top of each other... on the tree and in the cave?

They're competing for the same position in that spot. Go to walmart and buy a 5$ tub. You'll also want a tub for the other- aquariums are hard to keep humidity in.
Use the Search feature on here for some stuff- its a GREAT help for me all the time.

You don't need another tank. Just buy a 32 qt rubbermaid container with a lid, and use a heating pad with a thermostat. Make sure to drill holes.
Snakes can get stressed easily. Things from holding them way too long, to housing them together can cause stress. They are laying on top of each other because they want the same spot.
Read up on this.

Hi Kyle! Welcome!! : I hope you find everything you need here, and more!
As for the two of them living together, I wouldn't panic if I were you. But it would be wise to start making plans to separate them if you want them to thrive and be as "content" as snakes can be.
Here's our caresheet for BP's...

It should give you a very good starting place on making sure everything is just right for your new friends!

Hey Kyle,
Welcome to the forum.
Good luck with your two males, and please do consider the advice of others about separating those two snakes. It would be in the best interest of the snakes to do so.
Sit back relax, enjoy the show and learn about some herps.
