I just got back from Mackinaw, Michigan. I competed this year finally lol. Here's a couple pics if anyone wants to take a look. I had a blast and can't wait until next year. It's kind of fun talking with all these different Ironworkers. (By the way I'm not 12-13. Everyone there thought I was about that age. I just look really young!)

Me doing the Rod Tying contest. I did poor on this considering I've done nothing but rods so far. Did 10 figure 8's in about 92 seconds.


Just chattin around with some journeymen...


Me climbing the column. I did poor on this too, but I did alright. I climbed the column (40' or so tall) in 26 seconds.

Looks like you had fun, even if you didn't as well as you would have liked. Hopefully with a bit more experience you can kick some butt.

I know how it is to be thought of as younger than you are. I an 25 and people think I am 17-18 and will not believe me til I show them my driver's license.. but just think, we'll look younger when everyone else looks their age/older!
