It is a double edged sword; on one hand, it'll be a huge relief to be using less hay, grain, etc when the 2 babies are gone; but on the same note; it'll rip at my heartstrings just seeing the two mares out there.. we are seriously thinking of keeping the colt Domingo though, through the winter; but it might not be physically possible. See, now and during the winter, I myself am responsible for about 90% of their cleanup duties; Mark is spending alot of time with his biz, and that includes talking to investors on the phone even at home. Add to that about ten feet of snow all winter, and it will be pretty tough for me, a four-wheeler and a little manure cart, if you catch my driftI made it through fine last winter w/ the 2 mares, but even one more will be tough.. we'll see how it goes with him.
