    New Barrs Cage Setup

Well I got my Barrs cages in and set them all up. They are 36x24x12. These are awsome cages. I can't believe how well they hold the heat and humidity. I even had to drill more holes to lower the humidity some. Now everything is perfect. All are equipped with flexwatt on a BAH-1000 thermostat from Big Apple, Flukers digital thermo-hygrometer(these are great) for ambient air and humidity and digital thermometers w/probe for the warm side. I also installed an L.E.D. light setup inside the bottom cage(will do the others this weekend). The lights are great cause they put off no heat so it doesn't mess with the temps. The lights are just right, just bright enough to observe them during the day. I got them from Lowes, a little pricey though 29.99 for a set. The bottom cage houses my Rainbow Boa, the middle my Ball, And the top is my Florida Pine Snake. All are really happy to be out of their rubbermaids.

I love their cages, they are local to me so its pretty cool to see what others keep in them (everyone that sells them here has nothing in them). Lovely snakes, I especally love the Rainbow Boa.

Those look great! I am not much of a fan of the rubbermaid "enclosures". I like to see what my snakes are doing when I am not bothering them. Although I can understand if you breed them or have a bunch of them it may be easier.
