Today is the first day of school in my neck of the woods. Got both kids out the door!

Wow, I didn't know school started any earlier than around here. They still have another week or so.

We start a week earlier than most places so that we can have a week of Fall Break in October. Works out great for us, because it's too hot to do much during summer around here.
We always take our vacation during that week, it's great. No crowds, no horrid heat!

My son started school on Monday. I'll be much happier once preschool starts in another week and a half. C'mon Monday the 21st!!

We also have the fall break, and I love it. It kicks major butt.

It does, doesn't it? This year we plan on going to Hot Springs. Guess who's gettin a Spa Day!

Congrats on the spa day. I've got a massage coming to me, since Mother's Day but haven't had a chance to use it. I think I may just have to go make that appointment.
