Cloudy eyes
I know that when snakes get cloudy eyes, they are about to shed, but my Ball Python had cloudy eyes for a few days around August 3th, till August 6th, but today, it's eyes aren't cloudly anymore and it hasn't began to shed yet ? Was it only a phase ? I was also wondering, when does a Ball Python urinate and waste ? I'v had him since July 22 and it still hasn't done any waste, and it has already eaten about 3 rats, well, it's going to be 3 this Friday. When I bought him, the owners already had fed him that day, so if it doesn't do any wastes this Friday, is something wrong ? My BP is 3 1/2 feet long and about a year old. I feed him a rat once every two weeks.

Re: Cloudy eyes
My Hayden had cloudy eyes two weeks ago and they cleared within two days. He's just shed today. So, you've nothing to worry about there.
Also, snakes poops when they want to.. At least, that's what I've gathered from other posts here.

Re: Cloudy eyes
its completely normal, just keep the humidity up until he sheds. I have some that will only poo once every couple months and some that will poo every couple weeks. When he sheds I wouldnt be suprised if you find an extra little gift along with the shed

Re: Cloudy eyes
On when snakes go "poopy" (official BP.net term), they go when they are ready to go. My ball usually about once every 4-5 weeks, give or take. My boa used to be about the same, but she poopied this weekend as well as last weekend, so it varies.
Anywho, to sum up, they'll go when they are ready to go. =)
0.1 ball python (Cleo), 0.1 surinam bcc (Carmen)
1.0 sunglow motley corn (Jenson), 1.0 albino burmese (Lourdes)
1.0 cat (Nicky), some mooses and ratters, 1.0 hubby (Rick)
