Sheds as Background!

I added a background to my site! I think it looks a lot more finished this way, although the gallery setup needs work. What I actually did was take one of the VBB sheds (I don't know who's shed it was from, Ma-tsu or Neptune) scan it in, and make a thin gradient strip out of it. Messed with the colors and made the ends match up together, and voila... background! Took me all yesterday morning in which I took advantage of my insomnia to be motivated, lol.

I think it looks a lot better! The vast empty blue-ness was making me crazy. This adds more depth and just... well, fills the space. Yet another use of old shed skins!

Oh I love it Sheree! I'm very impressed by these kinds of computerized skills and it does look really lovely as a background.

Thanks Jo! I had to do some real brain searching to remember how to fix images to tile properly. You should have seen my first couple of trys, what a mess! lol!

It does add a nice touch. I love the new Medusa's too. I hadn't see a couple of them. Very nice. The vine snake inspired one is lovely.

Thank you! I did post the vine snake over here a while back, but a censored version just to be on the safe side. The one I'm currently working on is taking forever, but I'm experimenting with shading plus commissions come first.

I put up some of my art on Elfwood, and one person nearly lost it over Pied Piper. They said "I didn't think anybody else even knew what a Piebald Ball Python was!" They really ought to scoot over here... BP.netters know Pieds like nobody's business!
