    Next stop - Cloud 9!!

I am a total SPAZ right now! My first clutch ever! Exactly 27 days to the day from POS. I wasn't 100% sure about this girl being gravid, but Adam gave me all sorts of excellent advice (as usual). Anyway, I checked on her this morning and I saw her roaming around a little and she seemed a lot more alert. Sure enough, at 10am my wife calls me to ask if I wanted an omelet. I knew right away that my girl was popping out the huevos. After that it turned into the longest day EVER having to wait until quitting time to get home.

She came off the eggs relatively easy with no hissing, but she was very protective. I was surprised how deflated she looked, but I guess not after looking at the clutch. Total count: 8 eggs and 1 slug. I bred her to my BHB Cinny male. Now I'm sure to suffer from lots of sleepless night for the next 60 days.

Re: Next stop - Cloud 9!!

Thanks! I hope the 60 days will go a little faster than the last few months. The last copulation with my male was at the end of march, and she had a shed at the end of May that I thought was the POS. It turns out it was the PRE-Ovulation shed so I was waiting for her to lay at the end of June. I had pretty much given up, but she was still doing all of the gravid-y things like keeping to the warm side, coiling up, not eating. Needless to say, I was a tad stoked when I got the news this morning.

BTW, thanks for letting me share my joy. I was expressing my elation at work, and all I got were a lot of weird looks and "Ewww. Snakes!".

Yes, it was a blessing with everyone with my clutch. Well except for Cue!!! LOL!!!

Good luck with the clutch!!! It sucks when it feels like 5 days went by and it was only 2, but it will happen...........eventually. LOL!!
