I know I have to work the females to weight- this 'project' wouldn't start until '09 regardless. How long it takes to get to the goal isn't the issue- getting the females before 4 year starts is, right now, my 2 year is free and i have a well paying job- i have set goal of savings, everything else goes to my animals and my art supplies and... that dang car.. anywhoo
it really boils down to do i want to get pastels and make pastels with a 25% shot at making supers- and work my way into a spider
or use what i have now, with the resources to get a female spider in this upcomming year and (presuming things go right) make spiders & pastels and then depending make bumbles+supers (again, if genitically things fall right) in one-2 years.
if i went the pastel only approach, i would then around '10 buy a spider female either hatchling or yearling and wait another 3-4 years on that.
But enough about that, what about what i should expect for a -nice- spider female?
